MARUWA 源自江户时代（十九世纪初期）不断传承的陶艺世家。从大正时代日本饮食器铭制造开始，至1946年战后，以神户芳郎为代表，陶瓷器制造销售为目的，于爱之县濑户市上之切町设立了丸和有限合伙。

MARUWA 于1960年公司进军当时处于高度成长且急速并需求持续扩大的电子零件市场（面向通信机用特殊瓷器，固定电阻器用陶瓷），基于对陶瓷的执着，和与时俱进的发展开拓精神，至今，MARUWA集团仍然保留着这个传统。

MARUWA以陶瓷技术为核心，现在开展了4个领域的事业（陶瓷、电子元器件/组件、石英玻璃、LED照明）。

陶瓷材料

MARUWA 运用长年培育的独自的材料技术、板材/粉末成形、烧制等的陶瓷制造技术及专有技术，从陶瓷基板的生产到基板上的电路设计、电路图形形成、零件安装等的加工，确立了连贯的生产体制。利用陶瓷的各种材料特性，能满足各种需求。

电子元件/组件

MARUWA 以在陶瓷事业中培育的陶瓷材料技术、制造技术为基础，谋求层叠技术与元器件组装技术的融合，像EMI滤波器、磁性片、电感等高频元器件·组件与EMC元器件（浪涌·噪音对策元器件）。另外，以磁性片和电感为首的各类产品，已构筑了全球的量产体制。

石英玻璃

MARUWA 生产以半导体产业中不可或缺的石英舟、石英管产品为首，光纤用多重管燃烧炉、细孔穿孔加工品等各种各样的石英玻璃产品。MARUWA 将最先进的设备环境与熟练的技术相组合，在构筑超洁净制造与大型产品制造等新技术的同时，向太阳能电池、LED等发展迅速的领域推进开发与大批量生产。

LED照明

LED道路照明、LED内装饰照明、LED高顶棚照明等LED照明器具的生产。并且，MARUWA 将迄今培育的光学设计技术及高功率照明相关技术，与陶瓷技术、电路设计技术、实际安装技术相结合，进行能提高照明灯具的寿命、性能的散热性能优越的LED摸块的开发。

MARUWA's origin comes from ceramic artist family which has history since Edo period (beginning of 1800s).

In Taisho Period (in 1910s-20s), the family has started manufacturing dishes for Japanese cuisine. Yoshiro Kanbe has established MARUWA Limited Partnership Company in 1946 in order to sell the ceramic porcelain products (in Seto-city, Aichi). The products were manufactured and exported.

In 1960s, MARUWA has shifted the business to electronic components area (speciality ceramics for communication equipments, ceramics for chip resisters) which market needs were growing rapidly.

Pioneer spirit has been a very important base of MARUWA Group's philosophy, as well as long cultivated ceramic technologies.

MARUWA is carrying out our business activities with four divisions; Ceramics which is a core field for us, Electronic Components / Devices, Quartz Glass and LED Lighting.

Ceramics

MARUWA is the ceramic experts with long-time experience,providing total solution from the raw materials to components.

MARUWA has established an integrated production system from producing ceramic substrates, designing, and patterning of circuit on substrates, to processing including components mounting. We fully utilize our technologies that we have over the years of experience on materials and processing technologies such as ceramic sheet manufacturing, molding and firing.
We can handle customers' various needs because we have wide range of product.

Electronic Components / Devices

MARUWA is flexible for customers' needs such as specification change and small quantity with timely innovation.

MARUWA integrates the ceramic material technology and manufacturing technology with the accumulation or a part installation technology to produce RF components or devices such as EMI filters, magnetic sheets, inductors, and EMC components (surge, noise suppression parts). We are establishing a global mass-production for various products including magnetic sheets and inductors.

Quartz Glass

Our state of the art facilities and well-established manufacturing process enable stable supply of high quality quartz glass.

MARUWA produces various types of quartz glass products, including quartz boats and tubes, which are necessary for semiconductor industry, multi-walled piping burner for optical fiber, and machined products with punched fine pores. We combine the state of the art equipment environment and the expert technique, as well as we establish the new technology including super clean manufacturing or large product manufacturing to develop and start mass-producing products in a very rapid growth technical field, such as solar cell and LED.

LED

Our high quality LED products represent MARUWA's legacy of ceramics and components cultivated over the years.

MARUWA produces LED lighting fixtures including street lighting, lighting for interior and high ceiling. In addition to optical design technology and technologies related to high-powered lighting that we have acquired over the years, we will combine the ceramic technology, the circuit design technology and packaging technology to advance in our development of LED modules with high heat dissipation, which contributes to improving the life-time and performance of lighting fixtures.
